The first meeting of the project WoodApps „Improvement in collaboration along the wood value chain through knowledge-based methods and mobile applications“ was held in Germany in the beginning of November 2011. The HCN - High Competence Network e.V. as project coordinator invited the partners to the Hanseatic city Wismar at the Baltic Sea. The Kick-off Meeting is the first of a series of events where the project partners will exchange project results and discuss research approaches as well as cutting age technologies.
The main objective of the Kick-off Meeting was to get to know each other and to develop a more detailed idea of the targeted pilot "WoodApps - Information and Communication Service Platform". Furthermore the partners agreed on areas of responsibility and represented innovative platform and mobile prototypes.
